This listing is for QTY 1 brand new 4140 Heat Treated steel muzzle brake compensator which replaces the barrel bushing and can be installed in less than a minute. Why did we make ours from 4140 Heat Treated Steel? Simple, Heat Treated 4140 is material that is used to manufacture barrel bushing and is specified on original prints. DON'T BE FOOLED BY SELLERS SELLING ALUMINUM COMPENSATORS, AFTER TIME IT WILL AFFECT THE ACCURACY OF YOUR SHOT!! Think about it, the barrel goes thru the compensator on every pull of the trigger, after time this will cause your aluminum compensator to wear out and the accuracy will be gone with it.
All dimensions are closely checked and controlled by our manufacturing team to meet original gun manufacturers specifications.

Designed to fit Commander Style 1911 Autos. Barrel OD between 0.577" ~ 0.581". The ID is 0.582" ~ 0.583"
Calibers up to .45 ACP. Can be used / fit .38 or 9mm
Minor modification / fitting might be required
Will not work / not compatible with bull barrels
Will not work / not compatible w/ Full Size Model 1911
Adds 1" of length to your gun.
Weight: 2.4oz
Suppresses recoil by venting gasses as bullet exits the barrel. Angled slots add additional force forward reducing recoil. Top slot also adds force downward lowering amount of time to acquire your target.

We suggest regular cleaning per manufacturer of your weapon and or every 100 rounds. Keeping compensator clean will prevent malfunction or damage.
